Terms
These terms cover the 44lap site, the request tracking page and the client space. Each project is also governed by the offer the client accepts: its scope, phases, revision rounds, payment plan and terms. Where the two differ, the accepted offer prevails.
01 · What 44lap does
We are a concept-creation studio for food and beverage, hospitality and technology. We build a project from the idea to the launch: the concept first, then the phases built from it (naming, identity, the space or the product, training and launch), and we guard the brand for six months after launch. We run no operations and handle no client finance, licences, hiring or suppliers.
02 · Sending an idea
Your idea stays yours, and we use it only to study it and reply. Sending one commits neither of us to anything until an offer is accepted. If we give you a tracking password, keep it to yourself.
03 · Offers and acceptance
An offer states the price before VAT, VAT at 15%, the total, the payment plan and how long the offer is valid. Accepting it in the platform with your name typed is your signature: we keep the accepted version, and you can open its summary at any time.
04 · Payments and invoices
Payments are bank transfers. A project starts when its offer is accepted; the signing payment falls due then and isn't refundable. Each later payment falls due when the step it is tied to is approved. We issue a tax invoice for every payment we confirm and correct invoices only with a credit note. A late payment doesn't stop the work by itself; when a payment is more than 14 working days overdue, the studio may decide to pause the project for non-payment.
05 · Approvals and revisions
The client approves the concept and each phase, and the next phase starts only after that approval. Each concept and each file includes two rounds of changes; more rounds are priced as an addendum.
06 · Who owns the work
Files are delivered as they are approved, and you can open and download them. A design becomes the client's once the payment of the phase that produced it is paid. A name availability check is not a trademark registration. We show a project on our own site only with the client's consent.
07 · Accounts
Accounts are personal and by invitation. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
08 · Pausing and cancelling
The studio may pause a project, with a reason, and resume it. If a project is cancelled, the signing payment isn't refunded, payments already due stay due, the files delivered stay available to the client, and the designs of paid phases are the client's.
09 · Liability and governing law
Nothing here limits a liability the law doesn't allow to be limited; otherwise, liability is as set in the accepted offer. These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
